I completed Dirge of Cerberus at last! Today is a day where the grin cannot leave my lips.
Despite really preparing myself for the bucket of shite that I expected this game to be, I actually really enjoyed it. As a rule I suck at FPS, particularly if they are on a console and I wasn't great at this game but I managed to pootle through it and the story line made me happy!

Only a few quibbles. Bad lip sinc PISSES me off. It gives the big old middle finger to the English speaking people by Square Enix. You can tell that they literally just got the voice actors to dub over the FMV's and this may work in Anime but it really DOESN'T work in FMV's.

Also, the end boss fights are a bit pathetic compared to some of the battles earlier in the game. To be fair, this is the smallest quibble I had because at that point I really just wanted the storyline to keep moving and I think a lengthly end battle would have stalled it a bit.

Anyway, I'm off to go and complete the extra quests to unlock me some extra features.
If you never hear from me again then I have probably wasted away in front of my ps2 and gnawed my fingers off in despair.
